The DOEE and DCSEU developed the Affordable Housing Electrification Program — the first of its kind across the country — designed to transition low-income, single-family homes away from fossil fuels. Greenscape Energy was selected as the sole contractor to execute the initial pilot. Our team removed fossil fuel systems and upgraded heating, HVAC and hot water infrastructure, creating healthier living environments for residents while advancing the District’s decarbonization goals.
