In support of D.C.’s target of 50% renewable energy by 2032, the city sought to equip residents with the skills needed to secure employment in the industry. Greenscape Energy partnered with the Department of Employment Services to deliver a solar training program to provide soft-skill development and hands-on solar training to low-income residents between the ages of 18 and 24. More than 90% of participants were gainfully employed within two months of completing the program.
