Victor Ramos-Martinez
Senior Business Program Manager, Pepco
After relocating to Washington, D.C. in 2021, Victor Ramos-Martinez joined the DCSEU Workforce Development Program and began working with Greenscape Energy. He developed the skills to advance into a project management role at a utility company. Later, Victor became the first in his family to purchase a home. He upgraded it with solar, battery storage, and electric systems, reducing his utility costs to around $5 per month.
Jayvond Kelly
Solar Team Lead, Greenscape Energy
Jayvond joined Greenscape Energy in January 2023 through the DCSEU Workforce Development Program with no prior construction experience. He quickly became one of the team’s most knowledgeable members and was selected as an assistant instructor for the Solar Training Program at the FH Faunteroy Center & Resilience Incubator. Today, he serves as Solar Team Lead, managing a crew of five and delivering clean energy solutions across the region.
Moziqe Howard
Human Resources and Operations Assistant, Greenscape Energy
Moziqe joined Greenscape Energy through a solar training program at the FH Faunteroy Center & Resilience Incubator during a career transition. She continued through the DCSEU Workforce Development Program, earning a placement with Greenscape Energy as a Solar Support Assistant. Her performance led to a promotion, and she now serves as Human Resources and Operations Assistant supporting company leadership.

Department of Employment Services
Solar training program for D.C. residents ages 18–24, combining soft skills and hands-on instruction to secure employment in the solar industry.
DCSEU Workforce Development Program
Ongoing partnership with DCSEU to provide District residents with on-the-job training across a range of green energy roles, including both field and office positions.
FH Faunteroy Center & Resilience Incubator
Community-based training site for our solar training program where participants receive hands-on instruction and contribute to real-world installations, including the Center’s solar and battery backup system.
